Ruc

Today started in LA and ended in Paris. We (Karen Blue) and I took a taxi from the airport to the Hotel Du Louvre where we are staying.

When we arrived in our room and chilled bottle of Besserat champagne awaited us.  There was also a beautiful Berry Tart.  YUM!!!

For dinner we went across the street to Rue. There we had a bowl of pumpkin soup...

  Was served with delicious bread and butter.

The ride from the airport was in a taxi with a daring but competent driver.  What a thrill

The only bad part of the day was a wheel from my suitcase fell apart.  Tomorrow I will try to get it repaired.
